Create Your One Click AI Podcast with NotebookLM
I fed my X posts into NotebookLM, hit Generate, and got an AI-powered discussion that understands my content better than I do.
What started as a note-taking tool developed by Google Labs has quickly become a media sensation and a glimpse into the AI-driven future of media.
These aren't just some AI voices reading my articles, nor are these my words – rather, it’s them talking about my posts. It’s 100% automated media, and, honestly, it’s good content.
In fact, it seems to understand my content almost better than I do. I keep listening to it and taking notes because the AI seems to grasp some connections between different topics of mine that I hadn’t conceptualized myself yet.
To create this video, I gathered my recent posts from X into a text file, uploaded it to NotebookLM, and simply pressed the 'Generate' button in the Audio Overview on the right side. After a few minutes, the app returned an audio recording of two AI characters discussing my text file in a podcast-style format.
By clicking the 'Customize' button, you can provide initial instructions to steer the conversation in a specific direction. For example, I wanted them to mention my name occasionally.
However, using the Customize function wasn't necessary - I simply started the text file with the following line: 'A list of Alex Utopia's most successful social media posts:' That alone was enough for them to refer to me as the author.
